What apps and sites does it actually work with?

Do I need to set anything up for each app or service?
No. It doesn't integrate with Spotify, Apple Music, or any browser individually — it reads from macOS directly, so there's nothing to connect, authorize, or configure per source.
Is it a subscription?
No. It's a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial first — no recurring billing, ever.
How many Macs can I use it on?
Each license activates on up to 5 Macs. You can deactivate a Mac from Settings before moving to a new one to free up a slot.
What macOS version and Mac do I need?
macOS 13 or later, on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer).
Where do the synced lyrics come from?
The app looks up lyrics using track metadata through LRCLIB, with NetEase as a fallback. Results are cached on your Mac. Synced lyrics depend on a matching track and provider availability.
Is it safe to install?
The app is distributed as a Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized download. It does not require a separate app account. Play History is stored on your Mac; lyrics, license activation and validation, and update checks use external services. Notarization is distinct from App Store review.
Why isn't it on the App Store?
Controlling playback across other apps and browser tabs requires reading macOS's system-level Now Playing layer, which Apple doesn't expose through a public, sandboxed App Store API. That's also exactly what makes the cross-app control possible in the first place.
